Job Summary
MRI Technologist (Mobile MRI) Sioux Falls, South Dakota
The organization is seeking a Mobile MRI Technologist to independently perform MRI studies as the only MRI technologist on a mobile MRI unit operating Monday through Friday. The role supports neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), and abdominal imaging, with typical start times of 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- ARRT (MR Registered)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- License to submit: yes (willing to wait)
- Proficiency performing independent working MRI studies, including neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging
- Experience: the posting indicates preference for minimum 5 years of experience (minimum years requirement is listed as 0)
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience
- Additional Information:
- Mobile MRI coverage is Monday through Friday; no nights or weekends
- The technologist will ride daily on the mobile MRI unit with a driver and will not drive
- Coverage includes 1 to 3 hospitals per day and includes regions across Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa
- Imaging equipment may include GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, and Siemens Espree 1.5T
- PACS and documentation tools include SECTRA PACS, VRAD night service, and EPIC electronic charting
- Scrubs: gray
