Lee and Associates, Inc.(Lai) is a design-driven studio comprised of enthusiastic landscape architects, planners and urban designers located in Washington, D.C. Our 39 years of award winning local and global work consists of a variety of project types and clients. The scale of our commissions ranges from the smallest of courtyards to masterplans for new towns/cities.
Role Description
This is a full-time, in-studio position, in our Washington, DC office for a Mid/Senior Landscape Architect with 6+ years of experience. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual with project management experience. The successful candidate will have the desire to collaborate within the studio and with our multi-disciplinary partners, will share our firm’s enthusiasm for our projects, promote a positive work atmosphere, and bring creative ideas and energy to our studio. The ideal candidate will also bring a high standard of design quality, excellence and innovation, and have the ability to manage and execute various projects through all phases of design and construction observation.

Requirements
- Project management experience on projects in urban environments.
- Proficiency in relevant design, drafting and management software such as: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Programs.
- Professional degree in Landscape Architecture (MLA, BA or BS) degree.
- Senior Candidates shall be a licensed landscape architect in a US jurisdiction with the ability to apply for local reciprocity. Mid-level candidates should be licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate project tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong written, oral, and graphic communication skills.
- Detail oriented commitment to design excellence .
- Experience with construction observation.
Other software skills that are not required, but may need to learn:
Revit, Microstation, Sketch Up.
