Description
An established and growing construction services organization in the Triad area is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting subcontractor and vendor payment processes.Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable for subcontractors and vendors
- Process and code invoices accurately to jobs, divisions, and GL accounts
- Utilize document management systems to scan, upload, and route invoices for approval
- Issue payments via ACH, check, and credit card, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain detailed schedules for deductions, back charges, and reconciliations
- Assist with vendor and subcontractor setup (W-9s, agreements, insurance documentation)
- Support bi-weekly payment runs and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Maintain organized documentation of invoices and payment records
- Collaborate cross-functionally and provide support to internal teams and external partners
- 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to prioritize high-volume workloads and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
