We're looking for a seasoned landscape architect with a strong technical foundation and a thoughtful approach to design. In this role, you'll take ownership of education-focused projects from concept through construction, playing a central part in growing an exciting area of our practice. You'll bring leadership, design sensibility, and deep construction knowledge to every project, as well as the ability to listen to our clients’ goals and translate them with creativity and attention.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage education projects through all phases of design, documentation, and construction.
Develop comprehensive construction documents and specifications.
Conduct construction administration both on-site and in-office, including site visits, submittals, shop drawing reviews, and RFIs.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, stewarding our clients’ resources while ensuring successful outcomes.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
8+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
Accredited bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing projects from start to finish.
Demonstrated experience on education projects.
Deep knowledge of construction, detailing, and construction administration.
Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate and communicate ideas to a variety of audiences through sketches, presentations, and technical drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; experience with Rhino and Lumion a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
