Description

Architectural office located near downtown Mountain View, specializing in Retail, Commercial, Supermarkets, Tenant Improvements, and Mix-Use Developments is seeking to fulfill position for a Senior Job Captain.

The open position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of proven work experience in the USA. This shall include production of architectural drawings (from conceptual design through construction documentation.) Also, it requires design abilities and construction detailing skills, and an understanding of the Building & Accessibility Codes. Having familiarity in responding to plan check reviews, as well as handling construction administration is highly preferred. 

Fluent verbal and written communication skills are a must. The office is casual yet professional and fast paced. Therefore, the ideal candidate shall be self-motivated, self-accountable, able to work independently or in a team environment; and who has the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

The office encourages those pursuing their Architectural Licenses hence it will reimburse the exam fee upon successful completion of the registration's exam. In addition, it encourages participating in Continuing Education, Building Code Upgrade Seminars or LEED certifications or similar type educational activities.

Qualifications:

• High proficiency in AutoCAD 2022 or REVIT
• Architectural Degree preferred • Minimum 5 years of work experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment or independently
• Familiarity with the California Building & Accessibility Codes
• Proficiency in 3D Rendering, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Word and Excel

The compensation will be based on work experience, and the benefits include medical insurance, vacation, sick leave and paid holidays and a yearly bonus.
