Responsibilities
We are currently hiring a Superintendent with a passion for building! We love creative problem solvers, leaders, and innovators. We value our field and give you the autonomy to run the project. Here are a few items you will be responsible for:
- Lead all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control, and a clean site.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections.
- Maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the project.
- Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations, and any deviation in the direction of the project.
- Always promotes positive relationships by dealing expertly and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors while instilling this philosophy in the project team.
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience both in union and non-union environments
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and possess the ability to pay close attention to the crucial details of retail & hospitality construction
- Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Experience in managing, training and developing people
- Experience in computer technology
- Experience in supporting a rapidly growing organization around the complexities of executing work in the national arena.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality projects including hotel, restaurant, luxury & specialty retail.
- Project experience should include out of the ground, complex renovation work in occupied and unoccupied environments, urban and suburban work locations, and a complete understanding of high level finishes
- Project locations are west of the Mississippi with trips home when project schedule allows.
