Overview:We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner at one of our Breinigsville, PA locations
Pay Range: $73,816 - $91,660
Schedule: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday
Eligible for Short Term Bonus
Job Summary:
This position is fully responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance, tech-hours, and materials for the Allentown East Factory. Reviews maintenance work orders and scopes jobs for labor and materials. Balances workload with available finances and tech-hours at each location. Communicates workload with Technical, Production, & Planning Teams. Schedules work orders based on prioritization and ensures all resources needed are available as scheduled. Maintains preventive maintenance tasks and data integrity in SAP. Owner of the PDCA (PM Planning) cycle. Architect of the Maintenance Investment Plan (MIP) aka Maintenance Budget.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect data, specifications, and cost of parts and equipment
- Estimates internal and external labor requirements
- Prioritizes work orders based upon consequence (severity/impact) and possibility (likelihood) of failure
- Coordinates with Technical, Production & Planning teams. Schedules work based on prioritization and maintaining machines to fulfill the needs of the factory.
- Calls PM workorders and communicates the required windows to achieve the work
- Coordinates with Storekeeper to ensure all parts are received/kitted so work can be executed on time and complete
- Coordinates with Reliability Excellence Team (corporate team) and Tech Team (factory level) to schedule and track CAPEX projects
- Maintains SAP data for Equipment, Functional Locations, tasks, and plans
- Analyzes and records job requirements for labor, materials, skills, safety & entry permits, and machine downtime
- Analyze historical tasks to optimize estimated durations and formulate PM Task improvements
- Optimizes the PM Program within the confines of the MIP. Organizes and guides the formulation of the Annual MIP.
- Work with Technical and Operations Supervisors to improve PDCA's and drive up the value of the PM Program for the Factory
- Utilize information from completed RCA's and Reliability Excellence Team knowledge shares to adjust PM Tasks as needed
- Recommends modifications in approach/parts to improve preventative maintenance program
- Coordinate the functional execution of the Rebuild Program to include scheduling tech time and planning resources needed to complete rebuilds
- Identify machine components ideal for Rebuild Program and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of currently rebuilt parts
- Attends and participates in Tech Team meetings
- Reviews, understands, and applies all required corporate policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret complicated technical and process SOP
- Knowledgeable in preventive and predictive maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Understanding of the maintenance and operation of bottling equipment
- Able to organize and manage many complex tasks
- Excellent communication skills, must communicate to both technical and non-technical staff
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Prior maintenance experience
- Demonstrated skills in root cause analysis
- Knowledgeable in use of SAP
