Description

Position Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Minimum five years’ experience in civil construction auger bore pipe installation
• Overall responsibility for safety of all individuals on the projects, working directly with our Safety Managers
• Works with inspectors on the standard requirements of the project
• Responsible for overall operations at the job site including meeting schedules and budgets
• Partners with the Superintendent and Project Manager regarding labor, equipment, subcontractors, material suppliers, and schedules to achieve safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Daily paperwork including: Notice and Dailies, JHA’s, Safety Permits & Work Orders (Change Order Management)
• Advanced knowledge of reading plans and specifications
• Supplier and material coordination, subcontractor management
• Strong organizational skills; ability to plan, schedule, supervise; responsible for completion of the project in a logical path
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
• Understand budgets and full responsibility of the overall project scope
• High understanding of soil conditions and anticipated reaction of the soil once disturbed
• Employee development and mentoring
• Excellent communication with fellow Superintendents, General Superintendent and Project Team
• The employee may be exposed to working conditions that include working near loud, large heavy equipment and near moving mechanical parts
• This job requires working outdoors in inclement Colorado weather conditions, year-round
• Early start workdays, occasional night and weekend work required
